By booking with Amazon EcoBoat, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Please read this document carefully before confirming your reservation.

General Terms

Amazon EcoBoat reserves the right to update, amend, or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is the responsibility of each traveler to review and understand these terms before booking.

Nature of Services

Amazon EcoBoat provides exclusive travel services and customized expedition packages, including private boat charters and deluxe glamping experiences in the Brazilian Amazon.

How to Book

  • All reservations must be confirmed in writing via email at contact@amazonecoboat.com.
  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation.
  • Full payment must be completed 60 days prior to arrival unless otherwise requested by Amazon EcoBoat.
  • A 6% processing fee applies to all credit card payments.

Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in automatic cancellation of your reservation without refund.

Rescheduling & Modifications

  • Reservations may be rescheduled once, without penalty, up to 60 days before check-in.
  • Rebooking requests made between 44 and 0 days before check-in will incur a 100% fee (no refund).
  • Rescheduled trips must be completed by December 12, 2026.
  • Reservations are non-transferable and cannot be canceled once rescheduled.
  • Seasonal pricing adjustments may apply if rebooking occurs in a different year.

 Cancellations & Refund Policy

  • The 50% deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • Cancellations received:
    • 59–45 days before arrival: 20% of the total paid amount will be refunded.
    • 44 days or less: No refunds will be issued.
  • No refunds will be granted for:
    • Early departure
    • No-shows
    • Unused services
  • For international refunds, a 7% processing fee applies. Refunds will be converted from Brazilian Reais using the exchange rate on the day of the transaction.

Force Majeure

Amazon EcoBoat is not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather events and natural disasters
  • Government actions and regulations
  • Pandemics or public health crises
  • Transportation strikes or delays
  • War or civil unrest

No refunds or compensation will be provided for cancellations or service disruptions due to force majeure.

Liability & Assumption of Risk

Participation in Amazon EcoBoat tours involves travel in remote areas, boat navigation, wildlife observation, and nature immersion. Guests acknowledge and accept all inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Accidents during transport or excursions
  • Wildlife encounters
  • Medical incidents or injuries
  • Property loss or theft

By booking, guests voluntarily assume all associated risks. Amazon EcoBoat, its owners, affiliates, partners, staff, and service providers shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or expense resulting from causes beyond their control.

Exclusion of Liability

Amazon EcoBoat disclaims liability for:

  • Acts of nature (floods, storms, fires)
  • Flight delays or missed connections
  • Lost luggage or personal items
  • Strikes, theft, illness, or political events
  • Negligence by third-party service providers

Guests waive the right to seek compensation for these events, even if they occur during contracted services.

Travel Documentation & Health

  • Travelers are solely responsible for obtaining and carrying:
    • Valid passports and entry visas
    • Required immunizations and vaccinations
    • Mandatory travel and medical insurance policies
  • Amazon EcoBoat is not liable for denied entry due to missing documentation or health requirements.

Binding Agreement

These Terms and Conditions are legally binding for all guests, including their companions, heirs, assigns, and legal representatives. By submitting payment, the guest acknowledges full acceptance of all terms contained herein.

Sales Representatives & Travel Agencies

Any commercial partner, travel agent, or sales representative acting on behalf of a client is responsible for conveying these Terms & Conditions to the traveler. Booking through a third party does not exempt the traveler from these obligations.

Then, by paying the booking deposit, you confirm that you:

  • Understand and accept the inherent risks of traveling in the Amazon
  • Agree to the cancellation and refund terms
  • Acknowledge the binding nature of these terms
