Terms and Conditions

By booking with Amazon EcoBoat, you agree to the terms outlined below. Please read this document carefully before confirming your reservation.


General Terms

Amazon EcoBoat may update or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice. Therefore, each traveler must review and understand these terms before booking.


Nature of Services

Amazon EcoBoat provides exclusive travel services and tailor-made expedition packages. These include private boat charters and luxury glamping experiences in the Brazilian Amazon.


How to Book

  • Confirm all reservations in writing via email at contact@amazonecoboat.com.

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit secures the booking.

  • Guests must complete full payment 60 days before arrival, unless Amazon EcoBoat requests otherwise.

  • A 7% processing fee applies to all credit card payments.

If payment deadlines are not respected, the reservation will be canceled automatically without refund.


Rescheduling & Modifications

  • Guests may reschedule their reservation once, without penalty, up to 60 days before check-in.

  • Requests made between 44 and 0 days before check-in incur a 100% fee (no refund).

  • All rescheduled trips must be completed by December 12, 2026.

  • Reservations are non-transferable and final once rescheduled.

  • Seasonal pricing adjustments may apply for trips moved to a different year.


Cancellations & Refund Policy

The 50% deposit is always non-refundable.

Cancellations received:

  • 59-45 days before arrival → 20% refund of the total paid amount.

  • 44 days or less → no refund.

No refunds apply for: early departures, no-shows, or unused services.
For international refunds, a 7% processing fee applies. Refunds are calculated in Brazilian Reais at the exchange rate on the day of the transaction.


Force Majeure

Amazon EcoBoat cannot be held responsible for disruptions caused by events beyond its control, such as:

  • Extreme weather or natural disasters

  • Government restrictions

  • Public health crises or pandemics

  • Transportation strikes or delays

  • War or civil unrest

In such cases, no refunds or compensation will be granted.


Liability & Assumption of Risk

Travel in the Amazon involves navigation in remote areas, wildlife encounters, and nature immersion. By booking, guests accept all inherent risks, including:

  • Accidents during transport or excursions

  • Wildlife encounters

  • Medical emergencies

  • Property loss or theft

Guests voluntarily assume these risks. Therefore, Amazon EcoBoat, its affiliates, partners, and staff cannot be held liable for any loss, injury, or expense beyond their control. In addition, Amazon EcoBoat is not responsible for accidents, damages, or incidents resulting from the guest’s failure to follow safety instructions, guidelines, or recommendations provided by the staff during the trip.


Exclusion of Liability

Amazon EcoBoat is not responsible for:

  • Natural events (floods, storms, fires)

  • Flight delays or missed connections

  • Lost luggage or personal belongings

  • Strikes, theft, illness, or political events

  • Negligence by third-party providers

Consequently, guests waive the right to seek compensation for such events.


Travel Documentation & Health

Guests are responsible for securing:

  • Valid passports and visas

  • Required vaccinations and health certificates

  • Mandatory travel and medical insurance

Amazon EcoBoat will not be liable if travelers are denied entry due to missing documents or health requirements.


Binding Agreement

These Terms and Conditions are legally binding for all guests and their companions. By submitting payment, you:

  • Accept the risks of traveling in the Amazon

  • Agree to the cancellation and refund policy

  • Acknowledge the binding nature of these terms


Sales Representatives & Travel Agencies

Travel agents or representatives booking on behalf of clients must communicate these Terms and Conditions to the traveler. Booking through a third party does not exempt guests from these obligations.
